Dr. Hoa T. Nguyen

     Dr. Hoa T. Nguyen is a board certified therapeutic optometrist and optometric glaucoma specialist. She practices full scope optometry from routine vision exams to emergency office visits to chronic medical eye conditions.

     She earned her doctorate degree from the University of Houston College of Optometry. She graduated Suma Cum Laude was inducted into the Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society. Dr. Nguyen also completed internships specializing in retinal disorders as well as laser vision correction and cataract surgery.

     She received her undergraduate degree in Biomedical Science from Texas A&M University. Dr. Nguyen is also currently an active member of the Harris County Optometric Association, Texas Optometric Association and American Optometric Association.

     Outside of the office, Dr. Nguyen enjoys shopping, watching movies, and spending time with her husband and daughter.

Kimberley Hendrick

     Kimberley Hendrick graduated from Taylor High School in 2007. She has been working with Dr. Nguyen since September 2006 and loves every minute of it. She is very friendly and is great with children. Her favorite part of her job is getting to know all the patients and being able to gain firsthand experience in the optometry field.

     Kimberley is currently attending the University of Houston and plans to graduate with a double major in biology and biomedical technology, as well as a minor in accounting. She is working very hard in order to get into medical school and pursue her ultimate goal of one day becoming an ophthalmologist.

Valerie

     Valerie Reta grew up in Houston, TX. She graduated from Mayde Creek High School in 1999. Soon after, she attended the Academy of Healthcare Professions to become a Limited Radiologic Technologist. Her goal is to attend the full two year program to become a Certified Radiologic Technologist.

     Valerie has been working for Dr. Nguyen since July 2009 and really enjoys the experience. One thing she really likes is that she is able to interact closely with the patients and gets to know them very well. Outside of work Valerie enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She has a two year old son named Aiden who is a handful and she is expecting a baby girl shortly.
